Terms of Service

To use the service, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, accurate information as prompted by the order form, including email address(s).

You affirm you are 18 years or older. You shall at all times provide Valley Helping Hands with accurate information. Users are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under their Valley Helping Hands account. Customers agree to notify Valley Helping Hands immediately of any unauthorized use of their account or breach of security. When you register, or use the service or make payment for the service you are indicating your agreement with these terms of service (TOS) and agree to abide by them. Customer shall not resell, rent, lease, grant a security interest in, or make commercial use of the Valley Helping Hands Services without the express written consent of Valley Helping Hands

 Fees

  • Rescheduling Fee – If you reschedule a booked appointment for a Non-Emergency without a proper notice of 48 hours prior to appointment, a Rescheduling Fee will be added to your Invoice of 5% of the original Invoice or $15, which ever is greater.
  • Cancelation Fee- If you Cancel a Booked appointment a cancelation fee will be billed of 10% of the original Invoice or $25, which ever is greater.
  • Hazardous Material Waste Pick Up- A $50 Hazardous material waste pick up will be added to the Invoice if there are any hazardous materials on site that needs cleaned. ( Feces/Urine, Dirty Diapers, Hazardous Chemicals, Mold)
  • NFS Check-  If a check gets returned for insufficient funds, services will be suspended. A $25 NSF check fee will apply. plus the amount of the invoice, late fee(s) and/or deposit(s) will need to be paid before service reinstatement and we will not accept future checks for services, you will be required to pay with a money order.
  • Late Fee- Unpaid invoices for services rendered will incur a $10 or 3% late fee whichever is greater each month the invoice is not paid and future services will be suspended until the account is brought to a 0 balance.

Customer Accounts

You are responsible to provide Valley Helping Hands with accurate and complete billing information including legal name, address, telephone number, and credit card/billing information, and report to Valley Helping Hands all changes to this information within thirty (30) days of the change. You are responsible for any charges to your account. Changes made to an account’s billing information do not negate existing payments due on the account. You are responsible for keeping your passwords secure, Valley Helping Hands reserves the right to immediately and without notice change any insecure passwords on the service. You will be held financially liable for any damage done to the service by allowing a third party access to your account either directly or indirectly (your password is hacked or you have a virus on your computer which gives access to your account to the virus owner)

Ordering new services
When you order new services  we will send you a booking confirmation email detailing the work that will be done and the date and time it will be performed.

We will not book new services on accounts with an open invoice. An open invoice is an invoice that has not been paid by the due date.

Payment for Services

All charges are shown in US Dollars. Payments are to be made in US dollars and must be drawn from a US bank. We accept the following types of payment:

Check or Money Order made out to Valley Helping Hands
Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover)
Paypal
In order to keep our prices down Valley Helping Hands does not extend credit to Customers. Customers are required to make payment for services as follows:
Valley Helping Hands will hold all payments until the service is successfully completed. If the time spent on, or mileage driven to complete the service is more than the original service estimate you paid you will be billed the difference after the service is completed and responsible to pay the difference at that time.   If the service takes less time or mileage Valley Helping Hands will refund you the difference.

If a Valley Helping Hand fails to show up on the date your service is scheduled to be completed  we will either reschedule your service or refund the full payment back to you according to your preference.

Precautions

If you or anybody in your Household/Office is sick Valley Helping Hands must be notified prior to the appointment and the appointment may be re-scheduled to a later date in order to keep all of our Helping Hands and Customers safe from viruses

Payment by check

We welcome payments by Business or Personal checks written on a bank in Tennessee. If a check gets returned for insufficient funds services will be suspended. Payment by echeck
Echecks can take up to 10 days to clear if you want to use an echeck you must make sure that the echeck CLEARS before the service booking date and/or by the due date on your invoice. If your echeck clears after the booking date the service will be rescheduled to a date after it clears, if it clears after the due date on an invoice you have due you will incur and be responsible to pay a $5 or 3% late fee whichever is greater.

 Illegal Activities
the use of the Services to engage in any activities that are determined by Valley Helping Hands, in its sole and absolute discretion, to be illegal is prohibited.

Right To Refuse Service

Valley Helping Hands reserves the right to refuse services if it deems at it’s sole discretion including but not limited to

  • The service requested is inappropriate or illegal.
  • The location requesting service is not within our service area, or appears to be fraudulent or dangerous
  • We don’t have a Valley Helping Hand contractor in your area to perform the requested service
  • You have an open, unpaid invoice
  • You wrote an NSF check for previous services and have not paid it.
  • You verbally or physically abuse a Valley Helping Hand

Privacy
We may collect some personally identifiable information about you when you are at any of our sites. Valley Helping Hands may also include information about your visit in collective or aggregated data that does not identify you specifically. Valley Helping Hands is very concerned about privacy and guards your data carefully.
Valley Helping Hands currently does not disclose or sell any personally identifiable information collected at this site to other companies or organizations. In the future, should Valley Helping Hands decide to share its customers personal or transactional data with third parties, it will, in advance, provide notification and the opportunity for its users to indicate whether they would prefer the company not provide the information to third parties.
Our server recognizes your IP address and/or domain name and the pages that you visit. This data is gathered in an aggregate manner for quality control and improvement of our site. We collect your E-mail address when you send E-mail to us so that we can respond to your inquiry. We collect information that you volunteer to us on surveys and registration sites. From time to time Valley Helping Hands may send you information about related products and services. Additionally, internal practices help protect your privacy by limiting employee access to and use of customer data.
At any time you may view and/or update your registered information please use the Help Ticket in your Control Panel’s Help Desk section to request changes or updates to your registration.
All member email addresses, passwords and user names will be kept private and will never be given out. Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online – for example on your website, in message boards, through email, or in chat areas – that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you’re online.

Policy Changes
Valley Helping Hands has all policies and terms of service posted on this site at all times. We reserve the right to make changes to our policies at anytime. Although Valley Helping Hands does provide customers with reasonable notification of policy changes it is not obligated to do so and such notifications may not always be received by the customer due to circumstances outside of our control, therefore it is each customer’s responsibility to stay informed of new policy changes by visiting this page periodically.

Representations. By using the service you represent that you are fully authorized and empowered to enter into this Agreement, and that the performance of the obligations under this Agreement will not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third-party, or violate any agreement between the Parties and any other person, firm or organization or any law or governmental regulation.
Indemnification. To use Valley Helping Hands services you agree to  indemnify and hold harmless Valley Helping Hands, its affiliates, and its respective officers, directors, agents and employees from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of, or relating to services under this Agreement.

Venue and Governing Law  This agreement shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Tennessee. All disputes shall be resolved by a court of competent jurisdiction in Sequachie County, Tennessee

Entire Agreement:
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Valley Helping Hands Any oral statements made by a representative of Valley Helping Hands relating to the service shall not be a basis for any WARRANTIES or GUARANTEES of any kind.
